Vanessa Talbott

Vanessa began her real estate career in 1985 when she started working for a small family-owned company, Arlington Realty, in Northern Virginia. She honed her skills there for ten years before founding Cameron Duke Real Estate, a residential, commercial and property management agency that she maintained for over 20 years in the DC area.  She established Palm Real Estate in the Tampa Bay area in 2003 while transitioning to Florida and later expanded her market to the Sarasota-Bradenton area.

Vanessa was born in Japan and spent much of her childhood living in Asia as well as the U.S.  Her mother was a World War II Army Nurse and her father was a West Point graduate that went on to become a highly decorated Air Force pilot and career officer before retiring as a three-star General.  Her parents instilled a deep love of country in her as well as valuable character traits that helped shape the person she is today.  Because she moved yearly as she was growing up, she was accustomed to relocation procedures and new beginnings.  She was the perfect fit for a career in real estate and has devoted her life to helping others, both in her professional and personal life.

She is genuinely committed to providing an unsurpassed level of personalized service for buyers and sellers.  Utilizing the latest technology and continuing education she stays at the forefront of her industry.  Vanessa is often described as a highly energetic, focused and determined individual that helps her clients by providing the best representation possible.

When she is not selling real estate, she serves in national philanthropic organizations at the local and state level.  She routinely participates in events honoring our military and veterans.  You might run into her at an Honor Flight at the St Pete-Clearwater International Airport, participating in Wreaths Across America ceremonies or organizing fundraisers for non-profit veterans organizations in the local community.  She also enjoys spending time with her family, roller blading and taking care of two very spoiled cocker spaniels.
